Introduction of EPA certification:

EPA is the acronym of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, whose job is to protect human health and environment. According to the rights empowered by The Clean Air Act, it formulates the Federal emission standards for motor vehicles (40 CFR). Manufacturers shall test their vehicles in accordance with federal regulations and submit application documents to EPA, which will review the application and issue the EPA certificate. All vehicles must have EPA certificate before sales in the U.S. market.
